David Gordon
Before joining Blue Roc Premier Properties, Mr. Gordon was founder and CEO of Owners Property Management Corporation that, for twenty three years , managed a widely diverse portfolio of apartment properties in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Texas and Tennessee encompassing cumulatively over 12,000 apartments. During this period, Mr. Gordon was directly involved in the planning, budgeting and implementation of over $50 million in property renovations. Prior to founding Owners Property Management, Mr. Gordon was the Division President of the Florida Division of Johnstown Properties and was responsible for supervising the management operations of over 9,700 apartments throughout the State of Florida.
Prior to Johnstown Gordon was Management Vice President for First Property Management, Sam Zell’s apartment management company. Here his portfolio consisted of over 6,000 apartments in five different states. He has done extensive consulting for owners and other management companies in the United States and Canada and has served as Receiver for properties on behalf of the courts in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, Florida. Mr. Gordon has been a General Partner in apartment investments in Florida and Alabama.
Mr. Gordon has resided in Florida for the past thirty four years. Since 1980 he has held the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the institute of Real Estate Management.
